Anthropogenic forcing dominates sea level rise

A new study by Aimée Slangen shows that human activities are the dominant factor that drives sea level rise since 1970. While a large part of the observed sea level rise in the first part of the 20th century could be explained with natural variability, this is no longer possible during the recent decades.
